How many rivers in WWALS watersheds?
- Three (Alapaha, Withlacoochee, and Suwannee upper and lower),
- Five (plus New and Little Rivers flowing into the Withlacoochee),
- Nine (plus Willacoochee, Alapahoochee, and Little Alapaha River flowing into the Alapaha, and Dead River out of it),
- Twelve (plus Black River flowing into the upper Suwannee and Little River and Gopher River of into the lower Suwannee).
- Plus several large creeks and many smaller ones, and lakes and ponds and swamps.
- Of the rivers, only the Withlacoochee, Little, Alapaha, Alapahoochee, and Suwannee are generally considered boatable, and (usually) none of the creeks.

Cody Scarp, the Little Alapaha River arises in Echols County, Georgia, just before it flows into Hamilton County, Florida, where it falls into a sinkhole west of Jasper, briefly reappearing before vanishing again.
Theoretically it is a tributary of the Alapaha River, but it is not clear the waters of the Little Alapaha River ever reach the Alapaha River aboveground.
