The map shown maybe out of date. I live on Two Mile Branch in Valdosta. The city extended it past Bemiss Road decades ago. It extends at least to
the Carolina swamp near Randolph. It may extend beyond that. I haven’t found an accurate map.

The significance is, of course, a greater watershed for Two Mile Branch, and a higher risk of pollution. I am amazed at the number of people who
dump trash into the creek, not to mention those who use toxic chemicals in ponds connected to the creek, such as the holding pond just across Bemiss, where the land owner has poisoned his pond to kill off unwanted weeds in it.

Couple of Two Mile Branch documents from City of Valdosta:

23 pages of Section 4.6 from a larger document, with very detailed map, unknown dates:
    http://www.valdostacity.com/Modules/ShowDocument.aspx?documentid=5046

70 pages, Two Mile Branch Watershed Management Plan, many maps, 2007
    http://www.valdostacity.com/Modules/ShowDocument.aspx?documentid=700

    And found on GA-EPD website:
7 pages, Two Mile Branch, City of Valdosta, Lowndes County, Georgia, TMDL Implementation Plan unknown date
    http://epd.georgia.gov/sites/epd.georgia.gov/files/tmdl/TMDL_Implementation_Plans/Suwannee/0311020304/TMDLIP_Two_Mile_Branch_FC_0311020304_Y2001.pdf

Are any of those maps more accurate?

The stormwater managers fro both Valdosta and Lowndes County are quite communicative with WWALS, so if you’d like to help follow up on some of these problems, let’s see what we can do.
